A little part of me is bummed that we are not back in school today (some of my preschoolers might feel the same but not their older siblings). I spent last Thursday and Friday getting our room ready for the new year. I rearranged the furniture (prepping for the cereal box fort), set up new centers and we have fun units planned for the month. This always gets me excited for the students return. Bummer...no school. Oh well, I am fortunate that I don't have to trek out into the cold today. I am warm and toasty but how do animals keep warm and toasty in the winter? Here are some ideas to keep the kiddos busy...
