Creative Carrots

Last week, we planted carrots and had fun with The Carrot Seed by Ruth Krauss. Our fun with carrots and plants will continue in our TTh 3 y/o class. Here is an activity available in our art center---
We have  pre-cut carrot shapes (cereal boxes!) with a little pipe cleaner twisted at the top and paper scraps, rick rack, poms, beads and anything orange  the children can glue!

Teachers put lots of 'squiggles' on the carrot and children add orange pieces.

What a creative carrot!
