Lucky for You
We love exploring other countries and cultures with our preschoolers. This week we 'travel' to Ireland.

A bin of green in the art center makes colorful collages.
This leprechaun should be an easy catch when students listen to teacher directions.

St. Patrick's Day 2019
We love 'travelling' with our preschoolers and learning how other children around the world live. This week we 'visited' Ireland.

A bin of green in the art center makes colorful collages.
This leprechaun will be easy to catch! We love creating crafts at MCP and our students are such good listeners.

During center time students could color the Irish flag and press 'the easy button.'

Teachers give directions using shapes and letters and students are able to draw a leprechaun.

Lots of green and orange paint!

Fun Food Friday had students sorting, counting and creating patterns with Lucky Charms cereal!
What a fun week! We are so lucky to have your child at MCP! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

St. Patrick's Day 2015
Today our MWF preK classes will 'travel' to Ireland. When we 'travel' at school, it gives us an opportunity to talk about not only the country but the families and children. We try to decide if the children are at school, eating supper or sleeping. We will look at maps and see that Ireland is an island (we have discussed this concept with England, Australia and Hawaii, too). Teachers will attempt to talk with an Irish accent (it's so bad...so sorry). We will make a leprechaun and also sort, count and create pattern with Lucky Charms cereal. For more information on St. Patrick's Day activities search under the label 'St. Pat's'.
