When my boys were little, I was working in a small daycare. There was a toy from the movie Ghostbusters---a proton pack backpack and there was one. I came up with a cheap and easy solution---a multi-purpose proton pack. We use these as air tanks for firefighters, scuba tanks for our beach play and rocket boosters for our universe unit. We have started using juice bottles instead of 2 liter soda bottles because they seem more durable.
